Rajasthan plans to keep Veerus rooted to the ground

Rajasthan’s overhead public water tanks, which are at least five storeys tall or more, have been the site of tales reminiscent of Veeru’s suicide scene in Sholay. Over the past year, the state has witnessed people threatening to enact their own dramatic exits by ascending these tanks, and in some shocking instances, actually following through with it.
