Punjab BJP chief Jakhar seeks governor's intervention in teaching job aspirant suicide case

Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar has requested the intervention of Governor Banwarilal Purohit in the case of a Rupnagar-based job aspirant who committed suicide and blamed the state's education minister in a suicide note. The aspirant, Balwinder Kaur, alleged that she was awarded an appointment letter but the selection process was invalidated by the high court. Kaur's family members are demanding action against the minister and have refused to cremate her body until their demands are met. Opposition parties have also called for action against the minister.
