2 terror associates arrested in Srinagar

Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested two terrorist associates in Srinagar district on Wednesday night and recovered arms and ammunition from them. The arrested duo was identified as Yawar Rashid Dar and Basit Nabi Bhat, both residents of Saderkote Bala in Hajin Bandipora. A pistol, two magazines, 28 rounds and a grenade, besides a bike bearing the registration number JK15B 6856, was seized from them. Riyaz Ahmad Naikoo, a top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, was holed up in this house and killed during an encounter on 6 May 2020, officials said.
