ED on 'fishing exercise', says Karti, skips ED summons again

Blaming the Enforcement Directorate for conducting a 'fishing and roving' exercise meant to only harass him, Congress MP from Sivaganga Karti Chidambaram on Saturday refused to appear before the agency for questioning, skipping second summons issued to him in less than a week. ED had called him on Saturday for questioning, the second time within a week in a money laundering case where he is being probed for alleged kickbacks from a Chinese firm which got visas for their 260 employees in 2011 in violation of rules when his fatherP Chidambaram was the Union home minister.
