‘First glimpse of Ram Lalla idol only on consecration day’

The Ram temple trust is keeping the selection of the idol for the temple's sanctum sanctorum a secret until the consecration ceremony on January 22. The trust has decided that no one will see the face of the idol before it is enshrined after 500 years. The disclosure of the selected idol will only reveal whether white marble or black granite has been used. The trust is also discussing security arrangements, crowd management, and accommodations for guests and dignitaries attending the event.
