Scores of BCY activists were taken into custody by the police at Punganur in Chittoor district

BCY chief Bode Ramachandra Yadav announced that he would conduct the "Dharma Porata Sabha" meeting at Chedalla in Punganur on Saturday and sought police permission for the meeting.However after the Punganur police reportedly denied permission for the meeting, the BCY chief along with his followers arrived at the public meeting venue on Friday and strongly condemned the undemocratic manner in which the police denied them the permission. Scores of BCY activists were taken into custody by the police.
