Chhattisgarh govt launches creche scheme to support working mothers

In the current fiscal year, the Chhattisgarh government is gearing up to establish 1500 crèche houses across the state to support working women and cater to children aged between six months and six years. These crèche houses will be overseen by mentor Anganwadi centers in their respective areas. Shammi Abidi, secretary of the Chhattisgarh Women and Child Development Department, stated in an interview with TOI, I have instructed the relevant officers of the department in the districts to conduct a thorough survey to map the areas that require these creche houses the most".
