Jharkhand high court to hear Hemant Soren's petition against ED arrest on February 5

The Jharkhand high court has slated the hearing for the plea filed by former chief minister Hemant Soren on February 5. Soren has challenged his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in an alleged land scam case. Previously, the high court had granted the Enforcement Directorate five-day custody of Soren in connection with the case. The arrest came after several summons were issued to Hemant Soren and several hours of questioning by the ED.
