Sharad Pawar moves Supreme Court on EC recognition to NCP-Ajit

A week after EC ruled against Sharad Pawar and recognized Ajit Pawar's group as the true Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), the NCP founder filed a petition with the Supreme Court disputing the verdict. On February 6, the EC ruled in favor of Ajit Pawar in the NCP symbol dispute, nearly eight months after he split from the Sharad Pawar camp.
