Planes are dropping thousands of fish into lakes in Utah

In an attempt to restock local fish populations, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has turned to a method called aerial fish stocking.

The method has been used in the area since the 1950s. Airplanes equipped with hundreds of pounds of water — and up to 35,000 fish — drop them into the lakes below.
