Iranian Deputy FM gathers with Afghan Deputy FM to discuss issues

(MENAFN) The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Mohsen Baharvand gathered with Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Mirwais Nab at the Dougharoun-Islam Qala border point. The two diplomats examined operations to restore the border crossing amid both countries and talked about border affairs, including cross-border travel. The statement further declared that both sides approved that operations to remake and repair the border crossing must carry on full steam ahead without affecting border and legal issues, and that such issues should be settled by both countries� joint border commission.
