Discover Qatar announcement on hotel quarantine bookings

In the same page, it also affirmed that the "new quarantine packages are being finalised. Check back soon to make a booking." Effective from April 26, Discover Qatar also announced that "all passengers arriving on flights originating from or transiting via Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka will be required to stay at one of a specified group of hotels. " "If you are arriving from any of those countries, please carefully read the instructions here to help you find the appropriate page to book one of the specified hotels," it further stated. For all other arrivals from red zone countries, please continue to read on this page and use the booking calendar from this page . For existing bookings arriving before 28 April 23:59 Local Doha time - If you have already made your hotel reservation and are arriving before 23:59 local Doha time, we will confirm any changes to your booking on arrival in Doha - You will not be required to pay any additional costs between your original hotel booked and your new hotel, should your hotel change. Equally you will be eligible to claim for a refund if your original quarantine booking was more expensive than the options available.   For existing bookings arriving after 29 April 00:00 Local Doha time - If you have already made your hotel reservation in a different hotel, and are arriving after 29 April 00:00 local time Doha, we will contact you before departure to confirm that your original booking is cancelled. You will need to re-book a hotel following the instructions provided in the e-mail. - You will be required to pay for your new booking in full. Your original booking will be refunded within 15 working days.   New bookings made from 26 April 09:00 Doha local time - If you are not on a flight from or transiting via Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka you should not book a Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka Quarantine hotel for your mandatory quarantine stay in Qatar; you will not be permitted to check in and you will not be entitled to a refund. - If you are not flying from or transiting via Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka, you should book your mandated quarantine hotel using the booking calendar on this page.MENAFN27042021000063011010ID1101992544
