Jordan- PM issues Circular No. 33 on COVID relief measures

(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Amman, Apr. 29 (Petra) Prime Minister, Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, issued Circular No. (33) for 2021, based on the provisions of Defence Order No. (19) for 2020.The new circular regulates the relief measures announced by the government on Wednesday, to deal with the Covid-`19 pandemic.The circular bans people mobility in all the Kingdom's regions from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. throughout the week.The circular also allows citizens to roam on foot for the period specified by the Minister of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, to perform the Fajr, Maghrib, Isha'a and Taraweeh (performed speciafically in Ramadan) prayers, provided that worshipers adhere to the approved health protocols.According to Circular (33), public parks, including the shops inside them, will be reopened at the times specified by the competent authorities, and not later than 6 p.m., provided that these entities abide by defense orders and circulars governing public health during the Covid-19 pandemic.Under the new step, the PM can amend the provisions of Circular (33), in light of the Kingdom's epidemiological situation, according to the circulars he issues for this purpose, provided that the current circular's provisions take effect from Friday morning, 4/30/2021, until further notice.
