Dozens of rockets launched at central, southern Israel by Gaza militants

(MENAFN) On Saturday evening, May. 15 dozens of rockets were launched from Gaza in the direction of central and southern Israel, as fighting between Hamas and Israel demonstrated no signs of stopping. Police stated in a report that the rockets were aiming at Israel's financial capital Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport, and other key cities over central and southern Israel. There were no direct reports of losses. Previously on Saturday, Hamas, which governs the Gaza Strip, cautioned it will soon launch rockets to "avenge" Israel's overwhelming strike on a high-rise building in Gaza City that includes offices of Al-Jazeera TV and Associated Press.
