Kuwait FM receives phone call from USAID Chief

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 31 (KUNA) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah received on Monday a phone call from the Director of the US Agency for International Development Samantha Power.During the call, the two discussed ways for enhancing joint bilateral cooperation in various development sectors between the State of Kuwait and United States of America, and following up on the development cooperation strategy between the two countries within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and the US Agency in November 2020.They also discussed prospects for enhancing technical cooperation and joint work between the two sides in the areas of financing sustainable economic and social development to various developing countries and bilateral coordination to respond to crises and natural disasters.
