Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a two-vehicle collision on the A38 in Landrake, Saltash.

It happened at around 12.30am on Wednesday 8 July and involved a black Ford Fiesta and a red Honda Jazz.

A male passenger in the Fiesta, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

He remains at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where his condition is described as critical but stable. His next-of-kin have been informed.

A second male passenger was also taken to hospital but later discharged with minor injuries.

The road was closed while a scene examination was conducted.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, either vehicle prior to it, or who have dashcam footage, to contact police quoting the log number 24 of 08/07/20.
