Murder Investigation Launched Following the Death of a Woman in Horsforth

Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman in Horsforth.

Officers attended a property on Broadway shortly before 3.30pm today (Tuesday, 13 April) where the body of a woman was found.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody.

The body has not yet been formally identified but is believed to be that of a 26-year-old local woman. Her family have been informed.
