Appeal: Serious Injury Collision, M1 Northbound

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision on the M1 Northbound carriageway.

It happened at about 5.18am on Sunday, 28 May, when a silver Toyota Rav4 left the carriageway and collided with trees along the nearside grass embankment, close to Woolley Edge services.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 23-year-old man, was taken to hospital where his condition is said to be critical but stable.
