North Carolina will still work with RNC to ‘ensure the convention can be held safely,’ governor’s office says

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper said Friday that the state will “continue working” with the Republican National Committee to ensure that the 2020 GOP convention “can be held safely” in the state as previously planned.
