In May, Crockett bought the Belgian K. Rupel Boom Football club from the Spanish investment group, Rising Phoenix. Rupel Boom plays in Belgium's first national division but has previously played in the Pro League. This historic club is in Boom, Belgium, ideally situated between Brussels and Antwerp, Belgium's two most prominent cities. Initially, Crockett paid three months of back salaries for players and staff before officially signing the deal to acquire the team from Rising Phoenix. Rupel Boom completely re-tooled its technical staff and crew following the acquisition.
Also, this summer, the Italian Serie C team Fidelis Andria announced that Nathan Crockett was the primary sponsor for their Lega Pro season and considering future investment in the team. Fidelis Andria acquired a new sports director, head coach, and almost an entirely new roster of players.
Crockett invested in the Stars Born Here European Football Academy in Belgium (SBH Academy) in September.
