NASA's James Webb Telescope Discovers First Evidence of Carbon Dioxide in Atmosphere of Exoplanet

Scientists used NASA's James Webb Space Telescope and have discovered the first evidence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of a planet outside of our solar system. The gas giant named WASP-39 b was found to have the gas that is typically used in determining the potential for life.
