30+ vaccines supported, 3 in advance trials: Govt

Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai informed the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday that the government has supported more than 30 vaccine candidates for coronavirus and three of them are in advance stages of trials now, while four are in the advanced pre-clinical development stage. He said, 13 clinical trials of repurposed drugs have been undertaken for therapeutic options.
