Gupkar reunion sets J&K spl status as goal

The Farooq Abdullah-led National Conference on Thursday cobbled together a formal seven-party conglomerate called the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, including Mehbooba Mufti's PDP and Congress, to fight for the restoration of J&K's special status. All the parties in the alliance are the original signatories to the 2019 declaration initiated by NC at Farooq's Gupkar Road residence to resist the Centre's move to nullify Articles 370 and 35A of the Constitution.
