Brind'Amour's busy day: Carolina bench boss signs extension, wins coach of the year

On Thursday morning, the Carolina Hurricanes announced a three-year contract extension with head coach Rod Brind'Amour. Hours later, Brind'Amour won the Jack Adams Award as NHL coach of the year.
