Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 preview build to insiders out there, and in addition to a bunch of welcome updates, the company has also included several critical bug fixes. In other words, the experience with Windows 11 should be much smoother after installing build 22538, though it’s important to keep in mind all these improvements are still exclusive to insiders. First and foremost, Microsoft says it has resolved a glitch causing the hardware buttons for volume on some devices to cause a crash of explorer.exe. Indeed, this has been a major annoyance in Windows 11 preview builds, though the bug only occurred occasionally. Furthermore, the company says that it also addressed a problem causing some insiders to see text in Settings mixed up.
