iOS 16 is without a doubt a massive update that brings improvements on so many fronts, and unsurprisingly, there’s good news on the privacy front as well. Apple announced at WWDC that its new operating system version will also include a new privacy tool that’s called Safety Check. Its purpose is quite simple. With this new tool, users will be able to quickly remove the access that other people have to their data, with Apple also explaining that an emergency reset is also available with more advanced capabilities. “A new privacy tool called Safety Check can be helpful to users whose personal safety is at risk from domestic or intimate partner violence by quickly removing all access they’ve granted to others.
