Dune: Spice Wars Adds the Imperial House Corrino as Playable Faction

Dune: Spice Wars is still a work in progress, but that doesn’t mean that fans who jumped the gun and bought the Early Access version won’t get new content every once in a while. Over the weekend, developer Shiro Games and publisher Funcom announced the 4X real-time strategy game is getting its fifth playable faction: House Corrino. Adding a new faction to the is never an easy feat, as each house in Dune comes with its own strengths and weaknesses. In this case, House Corrino’s focus is on manipulating the CHOAM market and the Landsraad. If that doesn’t work, the Imperial House Corrino, which has Princess Irulan and Wensicia Corrino, daughters of Shaddam IV, among councilors, they typically send the ruthless Sardaukar to squash any resistance.
