Microsoft has just released a new Windows 10 cumulative update, though, for the time being, it’s only available as a preview via a manual check for Windows Update. Windows 10 cumulative update KB5018482 is therefore a preview of the next automatic cumulative update, which as per Microsoft’s schedule, should go live on the November Patch Tuesday. Microsoft says the new update comes with very important fixes, including for a glitch that made it impossible to complete an OS upgrade. In some cases, the process stops responding, eventually failing, so upgrading the operating system is no longer possible.
