Murdered Irish Army soldier's son says Mary Lou McDonald’s wish to change the past is ‘hypocritical’ attempt to erase IRA’s ‘bloody history’

The son of an Irish Defence Force (IDF) soldier has called Mary Lou McDonald’s refusal to condemn IRA attacks on security forces in Northern Ireland a “hypocritical” attempt to rewrite the terrorist group’s “bloody history”.
