'Still our streets': Protesters block new CHOP traffic lane hours after it opens

SEATTLE -- Protesters were blocking newly opened streets in the "CHOP Zone" Tuesday night just hours after the city reconfigured the landscape. The 4,000-pound concrete barriers were installed Tuesday morning to open a lane of traffic and protect free speech at the same time. But by evening, some protestors had already blocked off the lane.

"Still our streets" read one of the messages on the barriers, as one of the protest leaders "Rooks" questions the city's move to partially reopen the streets.
