Somewhat positive update on Big Basin structures, redwoods

Wildfire flames raced through Big Basin Redwoods State Park last Tuesday and destroyed multiple structures, including the historic headquarters, the nature center, campgrounds and more.

California State Parks released an update Friday afternoon listing the destroyed structures along with an initial statement on the status of its ancient coast redwoods, some nearly 2,000 years old.
