Warm weather affects Iditarod sled dog race

The weather in Anchorage, Alaska, has created trouble for the annual Iditarod sled dog race. The conditions aren’t too cold and harsh, but just the opposite: It’s too warm, and there’s not enough snow. For the second consecutive year, the first leg of the race had to be shortened to account for the lack of quality snow. Carter Evans reports.
