Structural Engineer Warns Collins Avenue Not Safe To Reopen Following Surfside Collapse

An engineer hired to help figure out why Surfside's Champlain Towers South collapsed, killing at least 97 people, is now warning officials that it still might not be safe enough to reopen Collins Avenue, where it runs next to the site of the collapsed condo.
