Nassau Chief of Detectives Keechant Sewell officially named NYPD commissioner

Nassau's Chief of Detectives Keechant Sewell spoke of the challenges facing the city in balancing "public safety and police accountability," as she was unveiled as Mayor-elect Eric Adams' NYPD commissioner, the first woman and third Black person to run the department.
