Egypt seeks settlement with ship owner for Suez Canal blockage

The Suez Canal chief said Tuesday that authorities are negotiating a financial settlement with the Japanese owner of the massive vessel that blocked the crucial waterway for nearly a week, halting billions of dollars a day in maritime commerce.
