'A day we dreamed of': Shanghai to lift strict COVID-19 lockdown after two months

A two-month lockdown in China's most populous city will be eased on Wednesday, with the passes issued by residential buildings for people to go out for a few hours to be scrapped, all public transport to resume, and residents allowed to return to work.
