Chinese billionaire Richard Liu settles U.S. rape allegation, 2 days before civil trial

Chinese billionaire and JD.com founder Richard Liu agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by a former University of Minnesota student who alleged he sexually assaulted her in her Minneapolis apartment in 2018, lawyers for both sides announced late Saturday.
