A container ship owned by Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer, the CMA CGM Symi, was attacked by a suspected Iranian drone, the Shahed-136, in the Indian Ocean. The attack caused damage to the ship but did not injure any crew members. The ship's Automatic Identification System tracker had been switched off prior to the attack, indicating a targeted threat. The Symi is owned by Eastern Pacific Shipping. This incident adds to the ongoing shadow war between Iran and Israel.
