She cautioned that, under Sunak's leadership, the Conservative Party is at risk of "electoral oblivion" unless there is swift action to intensify efforts against illegal immigration. In her inaugural formal speech since being ousted from the Cabinet last month, the Member of Parliament of Goan origin called on Sunak to implement stringent legislation enforcing the Rwanda strategy for the deportation of illegal migrants to the East African nation.
