STORY: Copenhell, one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe opened its door on Thursday (June 21) to 25,000 dedicated metal fans in Copenhagen.

Headlined by Ozzy Osbourne, according to festival organiser Jeppe Nissen this year's event has brought people from around the world to Denmark.

"We have people from Australia, Canada, Argentina, South Africa and of course the rest of the Nordic countries" Nissen said at the metal event.

Also among the performers are Alice In Chains, Deftones and Parkway Drive.

Copenhell finishes on Saturday (June 23).
