Vitaminwater is Offering $100,000 to Keep Off Your Smartphone for a Year

The beverage company is offering up big cash if you can stay unplugged.

To enter, you need to post on Twitter or Instagram with #NoPhoneForAYear and #Contest.

Contestants need to then describe what they would do without their devices for 12 months.

The deadline to enter is January 8, 2019.

If you get chosen, you can't use any smartphones or tablets at all.

The contestant will also be given a 1996-era cell phone to communicate with.

If they last the whole period, they will get $100,000.

However, you'll still win $10,000 if you can last 6 months.

Vitaminwater will then give the contestant a lie-detector test before giving them the money.
