A Los Angeles federal judge dismissed Ashley Judd’s sexual harassment claim.
Yet the judge said she could proceed with a defamation claim against Harvey Weinstein.
According to Reuters, Judd accused Weinstein of defamation after she refused his sexual advances.
She said Weinstein discouraged director Peter Jackson from casting her in his franchise, “The Lord of the Rings.” Judd was one of the first women to accuse Weinstein of sexual misconduct.
