Cops Bust Billion-Dollar Californian Meth Shipment Bound for Australia
Australian police have seized more than 1.7 tonnes of methylamphetamine and arrested six people allegedly connected to an “ice” smuggling operation.The haul was equal to “17 million drug deals” and had an estimated street value of $1.29 billion, police said.
Cocaine and heroin were also discovered.The drugs were seized in California on January 9 after they were discovered in an Australian-bound shipment of audio equipment.
