But one lawmaker believes legalizing it could play a role in ending Tennessee's Opioid Crisis.

Republican Senator Janice Bowling is sponsoring legislation that allow Tennesseans suffering from 16 different medical conditions that include Cancer and Opioid addiction to LEGALLY consume Medical Marijuana.
