Trump Invokes Executive Privilege
According to CNN, The Department of Justice informed the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday that President Donald Trump has asserted executive privilege over materials related to the addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 census.
The move comes ahead of a vote in the committee about whether to hold Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in contempt of Congress over a dispute related to the census and for not complying with subpoenas issued by the committee.
Indo-American and a practicing physician from Delhi AIIMS, Suresh Chandra Gupta said that he believes policies of Biden-Harris administration will be pro India and emigration and it will lead to a lot of goodwill by Indian American. "Indian American who have been here for years and now they are uncertain of their future. They may have to go back to India because of the policies of this (Trump) administration with no fault of those who came here they studied here and suppose to stay here and now if they have to go back its going to be big problem for them. I think policies of Biden and Harris administration will be pro India pro emigration and it will lead to a lot of goodwill by Indian American for this ticket," said Gupta on US Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden's Vice Presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris has made her first appearance with Joe Biden since being namedhis running mate, and has launched a heated attack on Donald Trump. Ms Harrissaid America was 'crying out for leadership' but had suffered greatly throughthe coronavirus crisis due to Mr Trump's handling of the situation.

UPI reports US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross has been hospitalized. At 82 years old, Ross is the oldest member of President Donald Trump's Cabinet. A Commerce Department representative said Ross's hospitalization was for an issue not related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ross was hospitalized for 'minor, non-coronavirus related issues' but is said to be doing well and expects to be released shortly.
