Reuters reports Brexiteer Boris Johnson gained ground on the position of the UK's Prime Minister on Tuesday.

The conservative former London mayor won 126 votes in the second round of a contest to replace departing Prime Minister Theresa May.

Johnson was the face of the official Brexit campaign in the 2016 referendum.
