Greek PM: 'We Accept The People's Verdict'
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said he respected the will of the Greek people who voted him out.
In national elections on Sunday, the populace voted in the conservative New Democracy party to power.
Reuters reports the PM and leader of leftist Syriza party delivered his concession speech at Zappeion Hall in Athens.
Today, with our head held high we accept the people’s verdict.
To bring Greece to where it is today we had to take difficult decisions with a heavy political cost.
