Vatican Tombs Opened In Bid To Solve Mystery Of Missing Teen

The investigation into the 1983 disappearance of 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi continues as two tombs in the Vatican's Teutonic Cemetery have been opened to identify possible remains.

The graves are marked as belonging to two German princesses, Sophie von Hohenlohe and Charlotte Frederica of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, but an anonymous letter sent to the Orlandi family urged them to investigate the graves.

The Vatican and the descendants of the princesses agreed to collaborate with the authorities.
