Supreme Court Sides With Donald Trump

The U.S. Supreme Court granted President Donald Trump’s administration’s request.

They are now able to fully enforce a new rule that will curtail asylum applications by immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Immigrants would first need to seek safe haven in a third country through which they traveled to the U.S. According to Reuters, the court said the rule could go into effect as litigation challenging it continues.

Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg dissented.
