Whole Trump impeachment process 'a sham': Graham

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on Wednesday said Democrats have not been able to build a case showing "quid pro quo" with Ukraine and described the impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump as a "sham."

"Volker the Special Envoy said there was no quid pro quo... What I can tell you about the Trump policy toward the Ukraine.

It was incoherent, it depends on who you talk to.

They seem to be incapable of forming a quid pro quo.

So no.

I find the whole process to be a sham and I'm not going to legitimize it," Graham told reporters on Capitol Hill.

On Tuesday, transcripts from the appearances of U.S. ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland and Kurt Volker, Trump's former special representative for Ukraine negotiations, revealed that U.S. diplomats pressed Ukrainian officials to comply with Trump's demands.
